FROM EXPERIENCE TO PURPOSE
The idea of creating Crypto-Grandpa™ Ukraine Foundation grew out of my personal experience, professional background, and the reality of the war that the aggressor state russia brought to my homeland — Ukraine.
I am a former military serviceman with two higher military education qualifications. I graduated from a higher military school and later from the Academy of Rocket Forces. My professional specialization was “Mathematical and Software Support for Automated Systems, Information Protection Systems and Cybersecurity.” By education and qualification, I am a mathematician and programmer.
When russia launched its full-scale aggression against Ukraine, I was working in the field of security for an oil and gas production company in the Poltava region. During my duties, I twice experienced enemy drone attacks on the company’s facilities. During both attacks, I was personally present at the affected facilities.
After the second attack, I made a conscious decision to devote the next stage of my life to a peaceful purpose — charitable assistance, education, and the practical use of my knowledge and professional experience to support those whose lives have been deeply affected by this terrible and unjust war.
This decision became the foundation for the creation of Crypto-Grandpa™ Ukraine Foundation — an organization dedicated to supporting older people and pensioners, veterans, young people and children, helping them adapt to new realities, improve their digital literacy, bridge the digital divide between generations, integrate into the modern information society, and gain new opportunities through education and innovative technologies.
I founded Crypto-Grandpa™ Ukraine Foundation after I had already retired, choosing to devote my time, knowledge and professional experience to peaceful work, education and helping others.
